Environmental problems in Colombia

 

Hello, my name is Jaivys Espinoza, I am 15 years old, I live in Colombia and this is my blog about the environmental problems that Colombia is going through.

what happens?

Colombia has been going through many environmental problems lately, which significantly affect our daily lives. Some of these problems are:

- the pollutions

- the climate change

- ecosystem degradation

These are not the only problems, but they are the ones I will mainly mention. 

How do they affect our daily lives?

These factors are the ones that mainly affect the country, since they are the most common to see when it should not be like that. For example:

Pollution, such as water contamination, can cause diseases such as dengue, which is one of the most common diseases in areas with stagnant or contaminated water.

The degradation of ecosystems affects significantly, since we are damaging the habitat of many species of wild animals.

solution proposals

A method that I propose to solve these cases would be to encourage people to avoid carrying out these types of actions, since today there are many people who are unaware of the importance of having a clean and healthy environment.

Finally, activities would be carried out so that people learn to take care of the environment, such as recycling, making crafts with recycled materials, promoting more the use of bicycles since apart from keeping the air clean of smoke, it is also healthy for the body.
