Environmental problems in Colombia.

 Hi my name is Carlos Gil, i'm 14 and i live in Colombia, in this blog i will talk about environmental problems in Colombia and i will try to explain each one, so that it is understandable for all types of audiences.

Have you ever wondered what an environmental problem is?

 Environmental problems are all those realities that unequivocally threaten the stability, health and survival of living beings, soils and everything important to maintain life on the planet.

Having said that and taking into account that you already know that this is an ongoing environmental problem with the main issue

What is happening with Colombia's environment?

Colombia is going trhough  an environmental situation that is too serius for its ecosytem due to factors such as:

- climate change

- deforestation

- air and water pollution

- forest and soil degradation

These environmental problems significantly affect the country, both economically and socially. For example:

the climate change is affecting Colombia in many ways, such as heavy rains flooding streets or droughts damaging crops.

the deforestation is closely related to air pollution, since trees are what clean carbon dioxide from the oxygen we breathe, and without these trees we could get sick through the respiratory tract.

In Colombia there is a lot of air pollution, especially in the city of Bogotá, the capital of the country, since this city sees a lot of traffic, and the piles of clouds of vapor from cars are so many that a layer of it has generated.

How could we solve them?

To solve environmental problems in Colombia, according to my point of view, we would have to follow a series of steps to achieve the main objective.

- First step: as a country we should make a count of all environmental problems in general, not just the main ones or those of a specific region, but of the entire Colombian territory.

- Second step: Carry out awareness campaigns about these problems and form an organization to try to solve them.

- Third step: Once we have the organization that will be in charge of helping us solve the problems, it will be divided by regions and in turn into groups that fulfill different functions.

- Fourth step: In each region each group will have different functions, some will be in charge of properly cleaning the streets, another will collect accumulated garbage, another will clean contaminated water and another will control cars, and motorcycles with engine problems so that they do not blow a lot of smoke.

- Fifth step: guarantee the function of the proposals to resolve and approve laws that prohibit activities that pollute the environment such as throwing garbage in the streets or in rivers, circulating a vehicle that does not act in conditions and that releases a lot of smoke, among others.

Finally, look for organizations with similar objectives from different countries and collaborate to solve the environmental problems of both.
